It is time to register for the popular In House comp at Knox City Tennis Club for the winter off-season. Commencing Tuesday 7th June & Thursday 9th June , and running for 7 weeks finishing the 19th & 21st July before intra club competition begins. You are able to enter either the Tuesday or the Thursday doubles comp or both. There is also an A grade Singles/Doubles comp on the Thursdays starting at 7pm. The doubles nights start from 7.30pm to around 9.30pm or when 3 sets are played. Cost for the evening?s tennis is just $6, which includes new balls and lights. Please bring correct change. All players will be graded into a ?comp? of similar ability. In doubles, each pair plays each other pair in an 8 game set. That is a set where each player has 2 service games. Over the 7 weeks every player partners a different player in their comp, with the winner being the player who wins the most games over the 7 weeks. You can nominate to play even if you are not available every week. A suitable substitute will be found when you cannot play. While this is called a ?comp? it is really a cross between comp and social tennis. Think of it as ‘social with a purpose’! If you currently don?t play any night comp, it may give you a taste for it. If you are involved in competitive tennis, it will help you keep your hand in during the off-season. *All ages, female & male and levels of ability are catered for.* If you are interested, please contact me ASAP by return email*!* *You need to get your entry in quickly or you may miss the cut off of the Friday the 3rd July, so I can get teams organised.* *Please indicate which night or nights (Tues &/or Thurs) you would like to play, doubles or Thursday S/D & which nights you will be unavailable. * *If you are willing to just be an emergency, also please let me know.* *David Willing 0478 559 579 will run the Thursday Singles/Doubles.* Return email with your reply now. Thanks *Jeff Connan. 0409 936 696 * *Night Tennis...
